This indicates the thing you’re looking for is found in those Biomes but not exactly where to find them. You’ll need to pay attention to two things on the map, that being the markers and the white highlighted portion of the map. The first few resources we’ll highlight are locations of important Minerals and Ores on the Subnautica Map. They have a variety of uses so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on where materials are found and regularly top up to make sure you always have a stack of materials to use. In Subnautica: Below Zero, there are two types of Raw Materials: Minerals/Ores and Biological. These kinds of games thrive when you figure out a routine and where to find certain items/materials. You’re going to need to farm these materials for new blueprints you come across so it’s a good idea to stock up as you go. Raw Materials in Subnautica: Below Zero are an important resource for progression and crafting in the game among other uses. I am finding a lot below the Research Base Omega underwater mountain (350m). Now that’s out of the way, we’ll start things off by showing you where to find some important resources for your bevy of tools, blueprints, and vehicles! Subnautica: Below Zero Map Resource Locations Magnetite is still in the game, they just removed it from the 'surface' (depth of 100m or less), which makes sense considering that in Subnautica you also had to go at least as deep as the Jelly Shroom Cave (250m). But we’ll at least point you in the right direction. So if it’s available, we’ll mention it, but if not, you’ll have to go exploring the specified underwater Biomes to find the things you need. You’ll be able to find them on the seabeds in underwater areas like the Purple Vents Biome but you can also mine them from specific marked Ore Veins in the Arctic Spires. For example, Lithium is a raw material found in most Biomes and is used frequently for late-game blueprints.
